Title: Oranges Are Not the Only Boz
Rating: PG
Summary: Murray's love interests have branched out from pomegranates.
Cody stood in the middle of the galley, puzzled. He spun around, his eyes darting from surface to surface. "Hey Nick? You think Murray's sick?"
Nick looked up from the paper. "What, babe?"
"I've never seen him eat so much fruit. Look at all this stuff." Cody indicated the counters, piled high with kumquats, pineapples, starfruit, bananas, apricots and plums. Punnets of bright blackberries, raspberries and strawberries completed the picture.
The two of them exchanged a look. Cody grinned, raising an eyebrow. "Hey Nick? You think that--"
"Hey you two? How's it going?" Quinlan's new protege, Wes Sanders, bent his lanky frame to fit through the galley doorway. He swiped a hand across the back of his mouth and looked from Nick to Cody and back again.
Cody smiled brightly. "Murray teaching you about his computers?"
Nick snorted into his coffee, and Cody put one hand on his shoulder in question.
Wes grinned. "Computers. Right, man. That's right. He's teaching me a lot, Allen. A whole lot of things I never realized."
Cody got Wes a cup of coffee, smiling smugly at Nick.
"You like fruit, Allen?" Wes asked. He picked up a tangerine, twirling it on the ends of his long, slender fingers.
Nick looked up sharply. Cody wouldn't swear to it later, but he thought he heard Nick growl, low in his throat.
